I Just Had An Orgasm…Twice…

…in my mouth!  No seriously, this is one of the best things I’ve ever put in my mouth:

Earlier today I was walking in the main plaza here in Comitan, Mexico, when suddenly I saw this stand serving churros and fried bananas.  I LOOOOOOOOVE fried bananas!!!

I’m not sure if this stand is always there.  I didn’t see it yesterday and today was a holiday–El Dia de los Reyes Magos.  So it might just have been there for the holiday…but somehow I doubt it 🙂

So I see the bananas or platanos or whatever, ask how much and I’m told 15 pesos.  That’s between $1 and $1.5.  A little pricey for one fried banana–but they looked really good.  I said “Me sirves una por favor”.  That basically means “give me one NOW!”

She immediately asked me if I wanted crema or leche.  (Cream or Milk)

I wasn’t sure.  I was confused.  So I asked for help.  The girl working didn’t know what to say, but luckily a fellow customer jumped right in and was emphatic in her suggestion of LECHE!  She was adamant.

Leche it is.  But leche it wasn’t.  It wasn’t milk–it was SWEETENED CONDENSED MILK!!!!!

And there was a churro on top–just for good measure.  It also included a cookie, which was just a normal packaged cookie.

The banana was AWESOME.  The churro was GREAT!

This was one of the best food items I’ve ever had in my whole life.

And so I went back tonight…just a few minutes ago actually:

If you want a banana like this, I’m guessing they are available all over Mexico.  But in Comitan, you can grab one just by heading to the plaza and grabbing one.  Best 15 pesos I’ve ever spent.
