Free Spanish Lesson | Andar vs Caminar | Spanish Quickie #2

The word they use for “walk” in Latin America is different than what they use for “walk” in Spain.

In this video, I go over the difference between ANDAR and CAMINAR. Both mean “to walk”. I distinctly remember being taught “andar” in high school–even though “andar” is the more Spanish word and we were clearly being taught Latin American Spanish (Spain stuff was extra credit often).

In this quick, 2-minute video not only do I go over the difference between the two words, but I share how I caused a beautiful Argentinian girl to laugh in my face.
